Safeguarding Surgeries

Once a month the Lead Child Protection Officer, Diane Davies holds a Safeguarding Surgery, the surgery is an informal meeting  where clubs can bring any concerns or issues for discussion and assistance.  It was mandatory from 2014 for all affiliated golf clubs to have a Child Protection Policy in place and displayed in their clubhouse and on the club website.  If clubs need any help to put this in place this can be done at the Safeguarding Surgery and there is also an opportunity to meet representatives from other clubs so that any good practices, ideas or concerns can be shared.
