The Junior Leadership Workshop is a 6 hour course aimed at volunteers
wishing to introduce the basics of golf to young people in a fun
and safe way. It is currently being re-written to account for the
fact that the new PGA Level 1 and Level
2 courses are now available.
The course most likely will still look at all aspects of golf for
young people including:
motivation
communication
organisation
Candidates may also be provided with information regarding the introduction
of basic golfing practices to children as well as:
delivery strategies
safety
planning
Workshops will be fun as well as practical and useful. Dates for
2008 will be published here as soon as possible:
