Dragon Sport Golf

Dragon Sport Tri-Golf is an initiative to introduce primary school aged children and adult volunteers to golf.

It is a ‘mini’ version of golf for primary schools, which involves the use of adapted equipment and a variety of games designed to provide an enjoyable introduction to the sport.

The equipment is designed to be safe and easy to use, affordable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The clubheads are colour-coded in line with the games and activity cards which are also provided to give ideas to the volunteers who run the Tri-Golf sessions.

Training on how to organise safe and enjoyable Dragon Sport Golf sessions is provided by the Dragon Sport Co-ordinators in each local authority. Click here for a list to find the nearest one to you.

There are session plans available for Tri –Golf activators (utilising the Dragon Sport Tri –Golf games) to assist in delivery of sessions linked to the Tri –Golf Level of the Junior Golf Passport.

If Tri – Golf activators follow the session plans over a 5 – 6 week period the participants should achieve the Tri –Golf level of the passport.
