New Junior Golf Guide website launched !

 

 

The Junior Golf Guide resource “Junior Golf in Wales” is now also available as a link from our website www.juniorgolfguide.org 
 

   

The resource contains much to help those involved with the organisation and development of the junior golfer and is designed to be a useful source of information and “best practice”.

The future of this great game rests with the young golfers of today and golf clubs play a VITAL role in nurturing those young people both as individuals as well as golfers.

This is reflected in the Golf Development Wales strategy entitled D3 - Develop the golfer, Develop the person, Develop the sport.

 

The resource contains on-screen information, downloadable reference documents and a multitude of video clips. They are presented in five main component areas:-

• Junior Club Structure
• Recruitment & Coaching
• Playing & Competition
• Coach/Volunteer Recruitment & Education
• Child & Adult Welfare

All five components are reflected in the structure of the Junior Club Accreditation scheme (“Junior GolfCert”), information on which is also included on the cd-rom.
