Free Golf For All !

Fancy a free game of Golf? Wrexham Council, The Welsh Sports Council and Golf Development Wales are offering everyone, yes everyone, from toddlers to teens and parents to grandparents, the opportunity to take up a FREE GOLF LESSON at Clays Golf Centre, Wrexham on Saturday 31st January 2009. (Including equipment hire)
The Free Lesson will celebrate last year’s success of the ‘Golf Roots’ project and the breaking of the world record for the most people taking part in a Golf Lesson taught in unison
Golf Roots has helped many people from the Wrexham area to get involved in golfing and has changed people’s perception of the sport. It has given people the opportunity to progress in the game and has created sustainable golf projects that benefit the whole community across Wrexham.
