Shelter Cymru Junior Golf Championship 2010

 

The qualifying rounds for the Shelter Cymru Junior Golf Championship 2010 will be held at various venues throughout Wales in March and April (see below). The format is a Stableford (same as the old Junior Heart Foundation competition) with three golfers of either male, female or mixed sex teams under the age of 18 at 00.00 hrs on 1st January 2010. The top two cards count with the third card being used to decide ties, the event is played off full handicap. The three top teams from each qualifying venue plus the top fundraising team will be invited to the final to be held at Builth Wells Golf Club on 12th July.

Adult / Junior Stableford Foursomes Open Competition for Welsh Clubs

 

GRAND FINAL - Sunday 26th September 2010 at The Glamorganshire Golf Club

 

This has been an annual competition since 2005 to recognise Wales’ great achievement in securing the 2010 Ryder Cup. The competition brings adult and junior sections together and enables them to work as a team in a competitive event coupled with a social occasion.

 

Format
• Each club holds an Adult/Junior Stableford Foursomes competition
• The top 32 team scores will make the cut for the Grand Final
• All players must have an official CONGU handicap
